Comprehensive, Compassionate Care

Get To Know Dr. Locklear

Originally from Pembroke, Dr. Locklear has been pleased to call Greensboro, NC, his home for the last several years. He attended Catawba College, where he played football and completed a B.A. in Business. After working in insurance for five years, Dr. Locklear discovered a desire to provide compassionate care and realized dentistry was his true calling. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completing his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the UNC School of Dentistry. Before starting his own practice, Dr. Locklear worked as a dental associate for three years.

Dr. Locklear provides personalized care to each patient and prides himself on his commitment to patient communication and education. Throughout his career, he has continued his education by completing additional courses in dental implants, same-day crowns, root canals, restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, dentures, CAD/CAM design, sleep disorders, and TMJ disorders.

During his free time, Dr. Locklear enjoys spending time with his fiancé Summer, and daughter Naomi. His hobbies include weight training, hunting, fishing, gardening, and remodeling his home.

Nikita Crouch

Dental Hygienist

Nikita graduated from Guilford Technical Community College as a dental hygienist in 2021. She is passionate about dental care and has additional training in Surgical Technology and Basic Life Support. Before her dental career, Nikita served as a medical assistant in general surgery for seven years. She loves getting to know her patients and enjoys seeing the positive progression of oral health for her patients. When outside the office, Nikita loves spending time with her two dogs, sons, and husband, Joshua. They spend many weekends on the baseball field and love to vacation at Ocean Lakes Campground.

Office Administrator

Marcia has worked in dentistry for 18 years. She attended both Guilford Technical Community College and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned her degree as a dental hygienist. She now works as the office administrator for our team. Marcia is happily married to her high school sweetheart. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and caring for her fur babies.

Dental Assistant

Melody has had the pleasure of working with fantastic dentists during her 25-year career as a dental assistant but now calls our practice her home. She has advanced training in Implantology and three years of teaching experience in dental assisting. Melody loves her pets, gardening, and reading. She also enjoys spending time with her sons Branden and Liam and sipping a nice cup of coffee on her front porch.

What to Expect

We’ve worked hard to create an environment that is warm and welcoming to all. When you first visit Locklear Dentistry, you’ll notice that each member of our team loves what they do, especially when it comes to interacting with patients. You’ll be greeted by our front desk staff, who will answer any of your questions prior to your appointment.

Once you’ve checked in and completed any forms, you’ll be taken back to our operatories, where our dentist and assistant will be ready for you.

You’ll always have time to share any questions or concerns with Dr. Locklear, who prioritizes clear communication to make sure everyone’s on the same page.
